#storybehindtheart
On March 28 1987, on a plane bringing him back from Germany to New York, Keith Haring wrote in his journal “I live every day as if it were the last. I love life. I love babies and children and some people, most people—well, maybe not most but a lot of people!”
In this Post, he shares a detail of Untitled a painting created in 1985 which reflects his view about life.
During his trip in Europe he had met with Niki de Saint-Phalle and Jean Tinguely. Tinguely was a person with whom he had managed to establish a deep human and artistic understanding and they had exchanged artworks.
He also had seen the work of George Condo, one of Keith's great friends who introduced him to Claude Picasso. Keith was a fan of his work “He’s still my favorite painter with of course Jean Michel Basquiat still the king of art”.
